Welcome to Comfysofa.co.uk, England's premier manufacturer and retailer of English, Handmade sofas.

Based in the small village of Holmfirth, in West Yorkshire, we are an independent family company, with over 50 years of combined experience in upholstery and the furniture industry. All of our sofas are manufactured on site, to the highest of standards, by time served craftsmen, using the finest quality components available.

Because we manufacture to order, we can offer huge amounts of choice, and because we don’t have expensive showrooms dotted about the country, we can offer our sofas, the equivalent of which would cost between £1500 And £3000 on the high street, at hugely competitive prices, without sacrificing on quality.

And using our nationwide delivery network, we deliver, free of charge, to the whole of the UK ( we do charge a few pounds extra to Ireland, but not a lot so don’t worry). Our delivery service consists of a two man team, wearing over shoes, who will bring your sofa into room of choice, remove the packaging, and for the handsome fee of a cup of tea, help you to find the best location for it!

Leather Sofas

The leather we use to make our leather sofas is lovely, it really is. We only use Italian aniline leather ( soft and luxurious) and offer a simple yet comprehensive range of colours, for you to choose from. We always recommend for you to request a selection of leather swatches before you decide on a final colour for your sofa, so you can compare the actual leather to your other furnishings- just to be sure that the colour is exactly what you want.

Fabric Sofas

When it comes to fabrics for your fabric sofa, look no further. We have teamed up with the best fabric mills in the UK and Europe, to give you the biggest choice of great looking fabrics going. Our personal favourite though, has to be our genuine Belgian velvet. A linen sofa, covered in a natural, soft Belgian linen has no comparison, and has a unique ‘comfy sofa’ look, from the day it arrives at your home. Thats why we sell so much of it, and THATS why we can sell it at such a good price!

Corner Sofas

Looking for a corner sofa and bored of seeing the same two or three designs? Well we have the answer! Every design we produce has a corner sofa option. As standard we offer our corner sofas in a small sofa-corner-large sofa formation, but as we make to order, if you need something more specific, just ask! And of course, we can produce leather corner sofas as well as fabric corner sofas!

Sofa Beds

Our sofa beds are lovely, they really are. Besides the fact that we make sure the designs are always attractive, we also make surew that every sofa bed we offer is suitable for serious usage. We know that there is nothing worse than a sofa bed which isn’t comfy when being used as a sofa, and is too small to use as a bed. Trust us, you’ll like our sofa beds!!
